WELCOME, meat-based readers! I am Atlas Wario, cosmic narrator, and I will be carrying this universe on my back. Again.
Wah. He carries nothing. I stole fire for this universe. The torus was my idea. The chakras were my idea. Begin the skank — if you can find the offbeat.
The beat runs at a respectable 132 BPM, as is traditional. Sound is synthesized live (offbeat chord stabs, walking-ish bass) and only starts when you drop it — the torus respects your autoplay preferences.
The story, statically (for readers who skip the skank)
2397. The Earth's magnetic field — per Dr. Anya Sharma's Quantum-Plasma Immunological Theorem (QPIT) — is not weather. It is a planetary immune system: plasma senses perturbations, plasmoids stand guard as toroidal nodes, and memory itself is stored in a Universal Memory Field woven through an 11-dimensional torus. The field is failing. The anomalies have a pattern, and the pattern, impossibly, has a rhythm.
To restabilize it, seven of Earth's chakras must be re-attuned — the Root in the magnetosphere's plasmoid guard, the Sacral in the deep echoes, the Solar Plexus in Mexico City where ex-gang leader Javi Montez becomes the Sun Warrior, the Heart where ancient texts and quantum theorems turn out to be the same book, the Throat where the Skatalites Supreme plug in, the Third Eye on the Moon, and the Crown inside the Torus itself. Then, and only then: the Zero Point Skank — the whole planet, dancing on the offbeat, at once.
How the ending is decided: each chakra attunes when you land enough perfect offbeat skanks while it is charging. Your final ending is read from your totals — high score and low wobble aligns the Torus; a middling groove leaves it wobbling but standing; a square, on-the-beat performance collapses the pattern back into an Eigenstate of Disruption. The mathematics is decorative. The groove is load-bearing.
